Migrations to Shopify
We move brands to Shopify and Shopify Plus without losing data, rankings or sales. Your products, customers and order history come across, and you land on a store built properly rather than approximated.

Two jobs
What a migration is
People say migration and mean two different things at once, which is where most confusion about price and timeline comes from. It is two jobs, and we do both.
- 01
Moving your data
Products, variants, customers, order history, content and every URL, transferred and verified.
- 02
Building the store it moves into
Your new Shopify theme, either rebuilt to look like what you have now or redesigned properly, depending on what you want.
The data is the part with rules. The theme is the part with choices, and it is where the cost and the timeline actually vary.
Your new store
Two ways to build
Once the data is handled, you have a decision to make about how the store should look on the other side. There is no right answer, only a right answer for where you are.
- Lower risk · faster · cheaper
Rebuild what you have
We recreate your current store on Shopify as closely as the platform allows — same look, same structure, same customer journey, on a platform that won't fight you. This suits brands whose site works and the problem is the platform underneath it: it's the lower-risk route, and usually the faster and cheaper of the two.
Carbon copy means as close as Shopify sensibly allows, not pixel-identical. We will flag those differences during scoping rather than at handover.
- Fix it while you move
Redesign as you move
You are rebuilding the store anyway, so this is the natural moment to fix what was not working rather than faithfully reproduce it. New design, new structure, new product pages, built as a bespoke theme.
This suits brands who were already thinking about a redesign, or who are leaving a platform partly because the site itself has become the problem. It costs more and takes longer, and it means one disruption instead of two.
Not sure? Tell us why you are moving. If the site is fine and the platform is the problem, rebuild it. If you have been putting off a redesign, do it now.

Keeping you SEO-safe
- 01
Every URL mapped
Each old address gets a 301 to its correct new home, checked page by page rather than by pattern.
- 02
Metadata carried over
Titles, descriptions and structured data preserved or improved.
- 03
Content parity
Pages that rank keep the content that made them rank.
- 04
Crawled before launch
We crawl the old site and confirm every redirect resolves before the switch, not after.
- 05
Watched afterwards
Search Console monitored through the weeks that matter.
No downtime
You keep selling
The new store is built and tested in full while your current one carries on trading. The switch itself is a DNS change, made once you have approved everything.
Scope
What we don't do
We handle the platform move and the store you land on. We do not build integrations between Shopify and back-office systems: ERP, PIM, warehouse management or accounting platforms, and the custom API work that connects them.
If your migration needs that, it is entirely doable, it is just not us doing it. We work alongside whoever handles those systems, plan the sequencing with them, and make sure the storefront side is ready when they are. Better to say this now than three weeks into scoping.

FAQs
Yes, and it is a common request. We recreate your existing store as closely as Shopify sensibly allows, which is usually the lower-risk and faster route when the site works and the platform is the problem.
If you were already considering a redesign, doing it now means one disruption instead of two. If the site is working, rebuilding it as it stands gets you across sooner and cheaper.
Not when it is done properly. Full URL mapping, 301s and content parity are standard on every migration we run, and we crawl to confirm before the switch rather than hoping afterwards.
No. The new store is built alongside the old one and the switch is a DNS change.
Yes, along with products, collections, content and reviews.
Yes. End-of-life Magento is one of the most common moves we handle.
No, that is outside what we do. We work alongside the team that handles those systems and make sure the storefront is ready to meet them.
It depends on catalogue size and which theme route you choose. We scope it properly after the audit rather than guessing on a first call.
Scoped per project. The data side is fairly predictable; the theme side is where it varies, which is why the rebuild-or-redesign decision matters.
